Ingredients
- 2 cups Shelled Raw Peanuts
- 2 tbsp Milk Powder
- 1/2 cup Sugar
- 2 cups Flour
- 1 1/2 tsp Chilli Powder
- 2 pcs Eggs
- 1/3 tsp Salt
Directions
Step 1:Prepare the Peanuts
1.1:Soak the peanuts in warm water for 5 minutes, then drain.
1.2:Preheat the oven to 400℉and then turn it off.
1.3:Spread the peanuts on a large baking pan and put them in the oven to dry .
Step 2:Prepare the Flour Mix
2.1:In a bowl, Whisk together the flour, milk powder, and salt.
Step 3:Prepare the Egg Mixture
3.1:In another bowl, Whisk the egg and sugar together.
Step 4:Coat the Peanuts
4.1:Set up the Snackcoater
- Pour the peanutsinto the coating container.
- Set the machine to its minimum speed and start
4.2:Add a few drops of egg mixture into the container.
4.3:Add the flour mixture once the peanuts are covered with the egg mixture.
4.4:Repeat Step 4.2 and 4.3 until all peanuts are well-coated.
Step 5:Deep Fry the Peanuts
5.1:Sift out any excess flour from the coated peanuts.
5.2:Heat oil in a pot over medium heat.
- Test by placing one peanut in the oil. Start frying when it floats to the top.
5.3:Fry the peanuts until the coating turns golden brown.
5.4:Remove and let cool.
Step 6:Add Chili Powder
6.1: Mix the cooled peanuts with chili powder.
